A big THANK YOU to all those who attended Penny Parker's "Evening of Decadent Delights" at Coohills in LoDo. Eight courses with wine pairings made for an exciting evening. We deeply appreciate the support of our sponsors, guests, and volunteers. Special thanks to Tom & Diane Coohill for their hospitality in hosting the event and to all the chefs that participated. And much love to our dear friend Penny Parker, the inspiration for the event.

There were about a dozen auction items which were not sold, and have been posted on Blacktie Colorado, so check out our Online Auction to make your bid. The auction will remain open until May 31st, 2012.

SPECIAL FUNDRAISING NEWS:

cmh designs has launched its second quarter online campaign for Sense of Security. Artist Cindi Miller Herleman designs and sews whimsical creatures called "Whee Ones" and even smaller creatures dubbed "Liten Venns" (Small Friends in Norwegian) and "Cuddle Bunnies" - everything she handcrafts is her original design.

We are honored that Cindi has created a special collection just for us, and is donating 10% of her online sales, as well as sales from Denver area stores, to Sense of Security from now until June.

Check out the collection on Etsy or Facebook to learn more about them. Each one has a name, favorite foods and hobbies. The critters can also be found at local retailers Caboodle, I Heart Denver and Show of Hands.

Here are seven of the Whee Ones - aren't they just adorable?
