We seek to provide a sense of security from financial hardship and enhance the quality of life for breast cancer patients in treatment.
Sense of Security has provided over 1.2 Million Dollars toward housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, COBRA or insurance premiums and other basic living expenses of breast cancer patients in treatment. And we have assisted over 650 Colorado breast cancer patients.
75% of the assistance we have provided has been for housing assistance and groceries. These basic needs have been the top requests from breast cancer patients throughout Sense of Security's existence.
We are proud that so much of our funding goes to ensure that breast cancer patients can stay in their homes and have enough good food to nourish them during their debilitating treatment.

Comedy For a Cause 5.20.10
Join us at the Bovine Metropolis Theatre for a night of long form improv --no script, no net! A three team group of improv actors will plunge you down a zany trail of improv madness. Be sure to strap yourself in for an action-packed ride. A Dream Project presents: Saligia 5.21.10
Join us at the Lakewood Culteral Center in BelMar for two performances. DREAM PROJECT is a performing dance team for women 18 years and older in the Denver area. SALIGIA is the Latin acronym for the Seven Deadly Sins; pride, greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony and sloth. This show will feature creative and thought provoking pieces dedicated to each of these seven sins - but also the seven opposing virtues; humility, generosity, kindness, love, abstinence, self-control and diligence. Vocal Showcase 6.5.10
Come out and support Kiana Meradith, a talented 14 year old in her first vocal Showcase to support Sense of Security. Everything from pop to country, original work, and cover songs will be showcased. Kiana has performed in numerous showcases and talent shows and was recently the winner in the vocal category at the “Night of the Stars” Talent Show in Northglenn. Kiana studies locally with Voice Coach Bob Harris and also with the Brett Manning Studios in Nashville. The event will take place at D.L. Parsons Theatre at the Northglenn Recreation Center. Fifth Annual Penny
Parker Open 6.21.10
The 2010 Penny Parker Open will be held at the Inverness Hotel & Conference Center. There will be a 1:00 pm Shotgun start for the golf tournament, followed by a Silent/Live Auction event and food. In light of the current economic environment we are only seeking one level of sponsorship and participation this year at $1200 per foursome. We are looking for maximum participation in terms of the golf and our post golf activities to facilitate our success in supporting Sense of Security in 2010.
